Curriculum Vitae

I am highly interested in the development of general AI. Reaching superhuman performance in single tasks might be nice and profitable, but it does not answer the deep human longing for finding fellow intelligence.
Therefore, my research focuses on questions of achieving a true artificial understanding of the world. Where is the line between processing and understanding, and how do we get any closer? I believe Embodiment is one of the key elements of this. The other one is language and its talent to chop the world into discrete abstract bits.
